Mmmmm… anyone want to make a bet on whether or not she starts explaining about that whole “I’ve been over to the demon realm, it’s a dull dreary place where I walked for what felt like an eternity before making a deal to be sent back” bit sooner rather than later? ’cause this seems to be warranting some fraction of that story being told to some degree, even if it’s littered with lies, part truths and omissions.

    Well, of course, she had common sense enough not to say her full old name which probably has a grave marking it. People who were hanged still had that much rights as people. Even mass homicidal slaughterers got that much.
    If the grave is still there her name would still be on it and all that would imply if it it was found.
    
    That said, it’s either she tells some variant of the truth or the whole truth, or convenient circumstances interrupt this little chat and the whole thing is shelved for another time.

      Indeed, Nightsbridge is right on the “can’t argue with Delora”. Something tells me she’s known Daddy-Dear for so long, she has no problem standing her ground and being cheeky with him because… well. She KNOWS him, Maybe not fully, but more than enough to push his buttons while staying on fairly safe grounds.

    mmm… not true per say. It just depends on the person who can’t/doesn’t age for if they are going to date in the same-ish circles of those who are their physically apparent age or somewhere else.
    
    Typically that is just getting over “I’m old enough to be their grand parent/ancestor” bit of the whole thing.
    
    Vampires do this quite well ironically.
    
    … and that’s ironic due more to the comic’s plot so far than anything else.
